Many people believe teachers "have it made" since they have so many breaks during the year and summer. Jill Miller of Teacher, Be Still begs to differ. In this episode, Jill gives us the scoop on what it's really like to be an educator as well as insights on how she and her team meet the needs of Christian educators.
I remember choosing a major during my senior year of high school. I wasn't really sure what to do but I had an amazing French teacher (whom I still visit annually!). I told myself that if I could be half the teacher she was to me, I'd feel as if I made a difference. She was simply the best at helping me as a student and as a young person finding her way in this great big world.
After my first year, I realized how unprepared I still felt. I was overwhelmed with this new chapter of my life and didn't realize how many hats I'd end up playing for the sake of my students. I definitely could've benefited from someone like Jill Miller.
Jill Miller is one of the faces behind the brand, Teacher, Be Still. This is an organization that exists to help teachers be even more amazing at their jobs. Jill and her team show educators the importance of keeping God first as well as the benefits of prioritizing their personal wellness.
