Keeping It Centered

Practical Ways to Raise Prayerful Kids

Episode Summary

Parenting is an amazing calling that we’re privileged to have. At times, we may wonder if we’re qualified enough to teach our kiddos how to pray or even how to accept Jesus as their Saviour. Sarah and Steph of Raising Prayerful Kids help parents learn how to pray with their kiddos—not just FOR them. If you've been wondering how to pray with your kiddos (more), then pull up a chair with your favorite beverage, notebook, and pen!

Episode Notes

As a recovering perfectionist, I’ve wondered at times if I’m qualified enough to be a mother to my three incredible daughters. Sarah and Steph remind us that perfectionism isn’t a requirement for parenting. Instead, we need a heart that puts God first. Modeling this behaviour and mindset shift is so critical to helping our kiddos adopt beliefs that are aligned with God’s truth.

Sarah and Steph also drop many more gems to help you disciple your kiddos. They share:

“One of the best lessons we can teach our kids is the humility of not knowing everything.”
